Challenge

What concerns deter people from renting in the client’s key developments? How can these be addressed to drive rentals?

Insight & Impact

We analyzed 6,000 Twitter, Reddit and Quora posts to identify 4 key renter concerns, each with 2 to 7 sub-categories. The largest concern by far was crime and safety, but the fastest-growing concern was immigration and the changing face of neighborhoods. 

We mapped out which of the client’s developments aligned with the different concerns, giving them property- and neighborhood-specific focus areas for marketing communications and community engagement.
